Jointly Using Complex Equipment
Many projects are about more than just developing a product, testing a system or assessing feasibility. Instead, the key question is often whether the product can be manufactured in large lot sizes at a reasonable cost. What better means of answering this question than by using real-life equipment that resembles industry manufacturing as closely as possible?
For this reason, more and more projects are assessing the basic feasibility of manufacturing a new product using industry-standard machines and equipment. A laboratory collaboration is an excellent option here, as the selection, procurement and set-up of the equipment is carried out as a module within a joint project and the completed system is subsequently transferred into our customer’s chosen manufacturer.
