On 16 and 17 October 2024, the conference »Green ICT Connect« will take place in Berlin for the second time, focusing on topics such as environmentally conscious digitalization and sustainable microelectronics.

In numerous formats such as keynotes, specialist presentations and industry pitches, the ecological impact of advancing digitalization and the associated requirements for research and development - especially in the field of microelectronics - will be examined in more detail.

In more than 70 timeslots, the speakers will present their ideas and challenges relating to energy efficiency, decarbonization, and life cycle assessment in green ICT on abstract problems and, together with the other participants, find application-oriented solutions for cooperation between research and industry.

The »Green ICT Award« will be presented on October 16 at 5:30 pm. The award recognizes bachelor's and master's theses on resource-saving information and communication technology (ICT). 

On October 17 from 9:00 to 10:30, the »Breakfast for Women Scientists« will be a unique opportunity for women from the industry to share their development opportunities with female students and young professionals.
