The Fraunhofer IZM-ASSID joins DRESDEN-concept
The Fraunhofer IZM’s facilities in Dresden (All-Silicon System Integration - ASSID) and Bremen’s Fraunhofer IFAM have joined DRESDEN-concept as the newest members of the consortium. The total number of 24 partners from culture and science includes no fewer than seven Dresden-based Fraunhofer Institutes.
The Fraunhofer IZM-ASSID operates a 300/200 mm processing line (ISO 9001) for heterogeneous 3D wafer-level system integration and offers custom process and system-in-package development services ranging from initial prototyping to small series production.
The Fraunhofer IZM-ASSID also maintains very close working partnerships with an international network of semiconductor, materials, and equipment producers. This enables it to cover a broad array of customer-specific solutions for microelectronics products for the entire spectrum of smart system applications, including automotive, manufacturing, medical technology, and IoT applications.
What is DRESDEN-concept?
DRESDEN-concept is a consortium of 24 partners from culture and the sciences dedicated to seizing synergies in research, teaching, administration, and knowledge transfer. The members coordinate their research strategies and focus on areas in which Dresden can lead the world. The purpose of their cooperation is to win internationally renowned researchers for Dresden and inspire them to commit their careers to the city as a hub of science.
