Successful Cooperations within ASCENT+

The ASCENT+ network

Fraunhofer is one of five access providers to advanced nanoelectronics technologies and infrastructure for More Moore, More than Moore and beyond CMOS within the European Nanoelectronics Research Infrastructure programme ASCENT+.

In this role, Fraunhofer IZM-ASSID was able to proof its know-how and competencies in two cooperations so far.

Upscaling wafer technology approaches

Fraunhofer IZM-ASSID sucessfully developed a new approach to scale CHIPMETRICS' PillarHall™ technology to larger wafer sizes (from 150mm to 300mm).

 

Analysis with Atomic Force Microscopy

Fraunhofer IZM-ASSID supported the researcher from Lisbon University with a topographic analysis of photonic-based sensor on a nanoscale patterned polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) with grating and PDMS with grating and polymer using AFM and nanoindenter.
