For years embedded world has been considered the world's leading international trade fair and epicentre of expertise in embedded technologies. Fraunhofer IZM was also there from February 25- 27, 2020 and presented solutions and applications for embedded systems.

The Fraunhofer joint stand, which Fraunhofer IZM shared with four other institutes, was one of over 900 exhibitors - all in all, the trade fair was a meeting place for companies from 42 countries. Fraunhofer IZM presented two highlight projects: One was KameRad, a highly integrated camera-radar module for autonomous driving, and the other was an interactive setup where visitors could see the wastewater detector microMole with its modular sensor system in action.

Despite some cancellations of exhibitors due to the caution against the novel corona virus, more than 13.000 visitors came to the exhibition halls in Nuremberg and we could hold many exciting and profound discussions - the topics integrated sensor systems and automotive hardware aroused special interest.
